Mind full of Mountains

From Hope, BC to the Manning Park Lodge was quite a challenge for me. Over 20 kilometers of non stop uphill to contend with. I found myself stopping several times for a water break to settle my heart rate down. I also was given my first free beer of the trip at the top of the first summit (callout goes to Scotty Brown of www.advancedaudio.ca). A single can that went down so good at the end of the day. :-) Karin had zoomed up the hill ahead of me and was waiting at the Mule Deer Campground. Im going to have to initiate her to the benefits of wild camping soon. Free is good especially with the $20+ provincial camping fees without showers included.
