Our morning start was a frosty one in Cranbrook so our motivation to get moving was a little hampered by the cold. Once the the sun started warming us up we started for Fernie. About halfway between the two my bike computer clicked over a 1000k. So that's about 7500 left to go. W are also getting our first views of the Rockies.
